I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) and for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Directive 2014/43/EU of 18 March 20141 and Commission Directive 2014/44/EU of 18 March 20142 , hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Agricultural or Forestry Tractors Type Approval) (Amendment) Regulations 2014. | ||
2. The European Communities (Agricultural or Forestry Tractors Type Approval) Regulations 2011 ( S.I. No. 531 of 2011 ) are amended in Regulation 2(1), by substituting for the definition of “Tractor Directive” the following— | ||
“ ‘Tractor Directive’ means Directive 2003/37/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 May 20033 (as amended by Council Directive 2004/66/EC of 26 April 20044 , Commission Directive 2005/13/EC of 21 February 20055 , Commission Directive 2005/67/EC of 18 October 20056 , Council Directive 2006/96/EC of 20 November 20067 , Regulation (EC) No. 1137/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 20088 , Commission Directive 2010/22/EU of 15 March 20109 , Commission Directive 2010/62/EU of 8 September 201010 , Council Directive 2013/15/EU of 13 May 201311 and Commission Directive 2014/44/EU of 18 March 2014) and Directive 2000/25/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 May 200012 (as amended by Commission Directive 2005/13/EC of 21 February 2005, Council Directive 2006/96/EC of 20 November 2006, Commission Directive 2010/22/EU of 15 March 2010, Directive 2011/72/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 September 201113 , Directive 2011/87/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 November 201114 , Council Directive 2013/15/EU of 13 May 2013 and Commission Directive 2014/43/EU of 18 March 2014);”. | ||
3. The following Regulations are revoked— | ||
