AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (CEREALS) ACT, 1938 (SECTION 10) (EXEMPTION) ORDER, 1966.

I, PÁDRAIG Ó HIRIGHILE, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 10 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1938 (No. 16 of 1938), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1938 (Section 10) (Exemption) Order, 1966.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1966.

3. In this Order—

" industrial wheat commodity " means any wheat commodity other than—

(a) wheat flour,

(b) cereal groats and cereal meal, other worked cereal grains (for example, rolled, flaked, polished, pearled or kibbled, but not further prepared) and germ of cereals whole, rolled, flaked or ground,

(c) malt, whether roasted or not,

(d) wheat starch,

(e) gluten and gluten flour, whether roasted or not, derived from wheat,

(f) preparations which are mixtures containing flour for the production of cakes and bread,

(g) bread and other ordinary bakers' wares, not containing sugar, honey, eggs, fats, cheese or fruit,

(h) pastry, cakes and other fine bakers' wares, whether or not containing cocoa in any proportion, or

(i) compound feeding stuffs.

4. Every wheat commodity which is an industrial wheat commodity is hereby exempted from the operation of subsection (1) of section 10 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1938 (No. 16 of 1938).

5. The Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1938 (Section 10) (Exemption) Order, 1938 ( S. R. & O. No. 165 of 1938 ), and the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1938 (Section 10) (Exemption) Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 29 of 1957 ), are hereby revoked.
