LOCAL GOVERNMENT (REPEAL OF ENACTMENTS) ACT, 1950.

AN ACT TO REPEAL EXPRESSLY CERTAIN ENACTMENTS OR PARTS OF ENACTMENTS RELATING TO LOCAL AUTHORITIES WHICH MAY BE REGARDED AS SPENT OR WHICH HAVE CEASED TO BE IN FORCE OTHERWISE THAN BY EXPRESS REPEAL OR WHICH HAVE, BY LAPSE OF TIME OR OTHERWISE, BECOME UNNECESSARY. [22nd November, 1950.]

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:—

Repeals.

1.—(1) The enactments mentioned in the Schedule to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent specified in the third column to that Schedule.

(2) Where an enactment or part of an enactment repealed by the operation of subsection (1) of this section is incorporated in any other enactment, so much of that other enactment as incorporates the enactment or the part of an enactment so repealed is hereby also repealed.

2.—This Act may be cited as the Local Government (Repeal of Enactments) Act, 1950.
