European Communities (Safeguard Decisions) (Miscellaneous Revocations) Regulations 2006

I, Mary Coughlan, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), hereby make the following regulations: -

Citation

1.   These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Safeguard Decisions) (Miscellaneous Revocations) Regulations 2006.

2.   The following are revoked: -

(a)  European Communities (Newcastle Disease) (Control on Imports of Avian Products from Australia) Regulations 2002. ( S.I. No. 351 of 2002 ),

(b)  European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Control on Imports of Avian Products from Chile) Regulations 2002. ( S.I. No. 420 of 2002 .).

(c)  European Communities (Newcastle Disease) (Control on Imports of Avian Products from Australia) (Amendment) Regulations 2002. ( S.I. No. 560 of 2002 ),

This Order removes certain restrictions imposed as result of EU Commission Safeguard Decisions, which have lapsed.
