EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These amending Regulations revise the form of the Balance Sheet in respect of the General Fund by adding to the list of assets ECU (currency units of the European Monetary System) and by replacing the assets heading "Bills rediscounted" by a new heading "Bills-Irish". The Regulations also amend the order in which assets and liabilities appear in the Balance Sheet.
