DISTRICT COURT AREAS (VARIATION OF DAYS) (No. 2) ORDER, 1964.

I, CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by paragraph (f) of subsection (1) of section 26 of the Courts of Justice Act, 1953 (No. 32 of 1953), and after consultation with the President of the District Court, hereby order as follows :

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the District Court Areas (Variation of Days) (No. 2) Order, 1964.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of August, 1964.

2. The days and times for holding the District Court in the district court area of Longwood shall, in lieu of the days specified in paragraph 5 of the District Court Areas (Variation of Days) Order, 1964 ( S.I. No. 3 of 1964 ), and the times specified in column (4) of the First Schedule to the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 ( S.I. No. 5 of 1961 ), at reference number 192 be the fourth Thursday in the months of February, April, June, August, October and December at 11 a.m., and (for the business of the Annual Licensing District Court) the Third Thursday in September at 3 p.m.

3. Business transacted in the District Court Area of Longwood which is initiated and is not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if paragraph 2 of this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order provides for an additional sitting of the District Court in Longwood for licensing business, to be held in the month of September.
