Public Works (Ireland) (No. 2) Act, 1846

Power to appoint two additional commissioners of public works.

4. [Recital.] It shall and may be lawful for the Queen’s most excellent Majesty, by warrant or warrants under the royal sign manual, to nominate and appoint, in addition to the said persons so as aforesaid appointed and now acting as commissioners of public works, two persons, who with the said last-mentioned commissioners shall be the commissioners of public works in Ireland as fully and effectually to all intents and purposes as the commissioners of public works in Ireland were and existed before the passing of this Act, and shall be the commissioners for the execution of the said several Acts herein-before recited and of this Act, and also of all other Acts for the execution of which the commissioners of public works in Ireland are commissioners.
