Public Works (Ireland) (No. 2) Act, 1846

The commissioners of public works in Ireland to be commissioners for the execution of the Acts for improvement of the Shannon navigation.

2. The commissioners of public works in Ireland for the time being shall be the commissioners for the execution of the said two last-recited Acts for the improvement of the navigation of the river Shannon; and all the powers, authorities, and privileges, rights, titles, and interests, now or heretofore vested in the commissioners for the execution of the said two last-recited Acts shall vest in and devolve upon and shall be respectively used, exercised, and enjoyed by the commissioners of public works in Ireland for the time being, who shall for the purposes of the said last-recited Acts be and be deemed to be in the place and stead of the persons heretofore being commissioners for the execution of the said two last recited Acts.
