FISHERIES (SALMON DEALER'S LICENCE) REGULATIONS, 1981.

I, PATRICK POWER, Minister for Fisheries and Forestry, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 of the Fisheries (Consolidation) Act, 1959 (No. 14 of 1959) and sections 159 and 160 of that Act as amended by the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1962 (No. 31 of 1962) and section 11 (5) of the Fisheries Act, 1980 (No. 1 of 1980 ) and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 30 of 1977 ) (as adapted by the Fisheries (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1978 ( S.I. No. 195 of 1978 ) ), hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries (Salmon Dealer's Licence) Regulations, 1981.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 29th day of January, 1981.

3. In these Regulations "salmon dealer's licence" means a salmon dealer's licence within the meaning of Part X of the Fisheries (Consolidation) Act, 1959 (No. 14 of 1959), as amended by the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1962 (No. 31 of 1962) and the Fisheries Act, 1980 (No. 1 of 1980).

4. An application for a salmon dealer's licence shall be in the form set out in Part I of the Schedule to these Regulations.

5. An application for the renewal of a salmon dealer's licence shall be in the form set out in Part II of the Schedule to these Regulations.

6. A salmon dealer's licence shall be in the form set out in Part III of the Schedule to these Regulations.

7. The Fisheries Act, 1925 (Regulations) Order, 1925 (S.R., & O. No. 55 of 1925), and the Fisheries (Consolidation) Act, 1959 (Salmon Dealer's Licence) Regulations, 1963 ( S.I. No. 228 of 1963 ), are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
