Short title, collective citation and commencement.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the European Communities (Amendment) Act, 1979.

(2) The European Communities Act, 1972 , the European Communities (Amendment) Act, 1973 , the European Communities (Amendment) Act, 1977 , and this Act may be cited together as the European Communities Acts, 1972 to 1979.

(3) This Act shall come into operation on such date as the Minister appoints by order.
