AN ACT TO ENABLE THE PRESIDENT OF IRELAND TO APPOINT FROM TIME TO TIME ONE OF THE TRUSTEES OF THE CHESTER BEATTY LIBRARY. [16th May, 1968]

WHEREAS Sir Alfred Chester Beatty, deceased, by his will devised and bequeathed the library collected and established by him as The Chester Beatty Library to certain persons therein referred to as the library trustees upon trust to keep and maintain the said library for the use and enjoyment of the public:

AND WHEREAS there is in the said will a wish expressed that in addition to the persons thereby appointed other persons should from time to time be appointed to act as such library trustees and also a declaration and request that one of such other persons should be so appointed by the President of Ireland:
