Appointment by Board of staff for industrial estates.

5.—(1) The Board may appoint such number of persons as they may consider necessary to be officers and servants of the Board to assist them in establishing, developing, maintaining and managing industrial estates under this Act.

(2) Subject to subsections (3) and (4) of this section, officers and servants appointed under this section shall hold office on such terms and subject to such conditions and receive such remuneration as the Board may determine.

(3) The rates of remuneration of and the amount of any allowance for expenses given to officers or servants appointed under this section shall be subject to the approval of the Minister given with the consent of the Minister for Finance.

(4) The other terms and conditions of employment of a person who is appointed under this section to be a chief executive shall be subject to the approval of the Minister given with the consent of the Minister for Finance.
