AN ACT TO ASSIGN SHORT TITLES TO CERTAIN PRE-UNION IRISH STATUTES AND ENGLISH STATUTES APPLIED TO IRELAND, IN ORDER TO FACILITATE THEIR CITATION. [28th March, 1962.]

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:—

Citation of scheduled Acts.

1.—(1) Each of the Acts cited in the first column of the First, Second or Third Schedule may be cited by the short title assigned to it in the third column of that Schedule.

(2) The matter contained in the second column of each Schedule is for information only and does not form part of this Act.

Short title.

2.—This Act may be cited as the Short Titles Act, 1962.
