Prohibition of insuring with unlicensed person. |
24.—(1) It shall not be lawful for any person to pay, as consideration for the provision of benefits of the kind specified in subsection (1) of section 23 of this Act, a subscription or premium to or to accept any such benefits from a person who is acting in contravention of that section. | |
(2) Every person who acts in contravention of this section shall be guilty of an offence under this section and shall be liable on summary conviction thereof to a fine not exceeding fifty pounds. |
