Amendment of section 4 of the Railways Act, 1933. |
1.— Section 4 of the Railways Act, 1933 , (No. 9 of 1933), shall be and is hereby amended in the following respects and shall be construed and have effect accordingly, that is to say:— | |
(a) by the deletion of the expression “31st day of December, 1935,” wherever that expression occurs in sub-section (1) of the said section 4 , and the substitution in every case of the expression “31st day of December, 1937,” for the expression so deleted, and | ||
(b) by the deletion of the expression “1st day of January, 1936,” wherever that expression occurs in sub-section (2) of the said section 4 , and the substitution in every case of the expression “1st day of January, 1938,” for the expression so deleted. |
