Penalty for making false application.

12. If the secretary of any club or any other person knowingly lodges with the registrar an application for registration which is false in any material particular, he shall be liable, on summary conviction, to imprisonment, with or without hard labour, for a term not exceeding three months, or to a fine not exceeding fifty pounds, or to both.
