VI. And in order to avoid small fractional divisions of daily interest less than a farthing on the said bills; be it enacted by the authority aforesaid, That no such bill shall be issued for any sum less than eight pounds six shillings and eight pence; and that the said Robert Brooke may, at his option, have and receive one bill or several bills for such sum or sums as he shall choose, on the condition aforesaid, not exceeding in the whole such sum for which such bill or bills, pursuant to the provisions in this act may at any time or times be issued, so as no bill do issue for any sum greater than eight pounds six shillings and eight pence, except such sum as eight pounds six shillings and eight pence shall be the common divider of.
