Irish Medicines Board (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2006

I, Mary Harney, Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1(7) of the Irish Medicines Board (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 (No.3 of 2006) hereby order as follows:

1.         This Order may be cited as the Irish Medicines Board (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2006.

2.         The 8^th day of June 2006 is hereby appointed as the day on which section 25 of the Irish Medicines Board (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 comes into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order commences section 25 of the Irish Medicines Board (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 with effect from 8 June 2006. The effect of this commencement order is to amend section 54 of the Health Act 1947

This Order may be cited as the Irish Medicines Board (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2006.
