Competition (Amendment) Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2006

I, MICHEÁL MARTIN, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6(3) of the Competition (Amendment) Act 2006 hereby order as follows:

1.         This Order may be cited as the Competition (Amendment) Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2006.

2.         Subject to paragraph 3 of this Order, the 20 day of March 2006 is appointed as the day on which the Competition (Amendment) Act 2006 comes into operation.

3.         This Order does not apply to section 5(2) of the Competition (Amendment) Act 2006 .
