ORDER

Taxes Consolidation Act 1997 (Qualifying Town Renewal Areas) (Banagher, County Offaly) Order 2004 (Amendment Number 2) Order 2005

I, Brian Cowen, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 372AB (as amended by section 26 of the Finance Act 2004 (No. 8 of 2004)) of the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997 (No. 39 of 1997), the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government having made a recommendation to me pursuant to that section, hereby order as follows:

1.  This Order may be cited as the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997 (Qualifying Town Renewal Areas) (Banagher, County Offaly) Order 2004 (Amendment Number 2 Order 2005.

2.  The Taxes Consolidation Act 1997 (Qualifying Town Renewal Areas) (Banagher County Offaly) Order 2004 ( S.I. No. 341 of 2004 ) is amended by substituting for the map annexed to that Order the map annexed to this Order.

This Order provides for the correction of a mapping error in Statutory Instrument 341 of 2004 (entitled: Taxes Consolidation Act 1997 (Qualifying Town Renewal Areas (Banagher, County Offaly) Order 2004). That order provided for the designation of certain areas in Banagher, County Offaly as qualifying areas for the purposes of the Town Renewal Scheme. The error relates to site reference number 5. The mapping error is being corrected by way of the substitution of the map attached to Statutory Instrument 341 of 2004 in its entirety by a corrected map.
