(COMMENCEMENT) ORDER 2005

I, MICHAEL MCDOWELL, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1(2) of the Private Security Services Act 2004 (No. 12 of 2004), order as follows:

1.   This Order may be cited as the Private Security Services Act 2004 (Commencement) Order 2005.

2.   The 3rd day of October 2005 is fixed as the day on which sections 13 to 16, 21 to 28, 34, 36 and 38, Parts 4, 5 and 7 and Schedule 2 of the Private Security Services Act 2004 (No. 12 of 2004) shall come into operation.
