National Archives Act 1986 (Prescription of Classes of Records)(Amendment) Order 2005

I, Bertie Ahern, Taoiseach, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 8(11) of the National Archives Act 1986 (No. 11 of 1986), hereby order as follows:

1.        This Order may be cited as the National Archives Act 1986 (Prescription of Classes of Records) (Amendment) Order 2005.

2.        The Second Schedule to the National Archives Act 1986 (Prescription of Classes of Records) Order 1997 ( S.I. No. 281 of 1997 ) is amended by adding after mention of the matter contained in columns (1) and (2) the following:

“

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions

All records concerning criminal investigations or the prosecution of criminal offences.

”.
