HEALTH INSURANCE ACT, 1994 (REGISTRATION) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2005

I, Mary Harney, Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Health Insurance Act, 1994 ( No. 16 of 1994 ) (as amended by section 13 of the Health Insurance (Amendment) Act, 2001 ( No. 17 of 2001 )) and section 14 of the Health Insurance Act 1994 hereby make the following Regulations-

1.               These regulations may be cited as the Health Insurance Act, 1994 (Registration (Amendment) Regulations, 2005.

2.                The Health Insurance Act, 1994 (Registration) Regulations, 1996 ( S.I. No. 80 of 1996 are hereby amended -

in Article 7(i) by the substitution for “ancillary health benefits” of “relevant health services”.

3.               These regulations shall come into operation on the 1^st day of July, 2005.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These regulations replace ancillary health services with relevant health services.
