LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICES (CORPORATE BODIES) ACT 1971 (SECTION 3(2)) ORDER, 2005.

The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3(2) of the Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act 1971 , hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act 1971 (Section 3(2)) Order 2005.

2. In this order, “the Act” means the Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act 1971 (No. 6 of 1971).

3. The following bodies established by the Local Government Act, 1991 (Regional Authorities) (Establishment Order, 1999 ( S.I. No. 226 of 1999 ) are hereby designated for the purposes of section 3(3) of the Act:

The Border, Midland and Western Regional Assembly and

The Southern and Eastern Regional Assembly.

This Order designates the Border, Midland and Western Regional Assembly and the Southern and Eastern Regional Assembly as bodies to which the Local Government Management Services Board may provide services.
