BOVINE DISEASES (LEVIES) REGULATIONS, 1990.

I, MICHAEL O'KENNEDY, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 2 (2) and 19 (1) of the Bovine Diseases (Levies) Act, 1979 (No. 26 of 1979), hereby make the following Regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Bovine Diseases (Levies) Regulations, 1990.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of August, 1990.

2. The amount of levy payable under section 2 of the Bovine Diseases (Levies) Act, 1979 (No. 26 of 1979), shall—

( a ) as regards milk, be 1.4 penny per gallon,

( b ) as regards animals slaughtered or exported live, be £7.90 per animal.

3. The Bovine Diseases (Levies) Regulations, 1989 ( S.I. No. 299 of 1989 ), are hereby revoked.
