CORAS BEOSTOIC AGUS FEOLA (LEVY ON EXPORTED LIVESTOCK) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1989

I, MICHAEL O'KENNEDY, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 29 (6) of the Coras Beostoic agus Feola Act, 1979 (No. 25 of 1979), as amended by the Coras Beostoic agus Feola (Amendment) Act, 1988 (No. 23 of 1988), as adapted by the Agriculture (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 97 of 1987 ), hereby make the following Regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Coras Beostoic agus Feola (Levy on Exported Livestock) (Amendment) Regulations, 1989.

(2) The Coras Beostoic agus Feola (Levy on Exported Livestock) Regulations, 1979 ( S.I. No. 324 of 1979 ), and these Regulations may be cited together as the Coras Beostoic agus Feola (Levy on Exported Livestock) Regulations, 1979 and 1989, and shall be construed together as one.

2. The Schedule to the Coras Beostoic agus Feola (Levy on Exported Livestock) Regulations, 1979 ( S.I. No. 324 of 1979 ), is hereby amended by the substitution of the following Part for Part II:

"PART II

Levy on Livestock Exported Live

Coras Beostoic agus Feola Acts, 1979 and 1988.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations specify the documentation to which the adhesive levy stamps by means of which levy is required to be paid in respect of livestock exported live from the State must be affixed.
