HARBOUR RATES (DUBLIN PORT AND DOCKS BOARD) (RATES FOR WATCHING DANGEROUS OR COMBUSTIBLE GOODS) ORDER, 1966

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and after due compliance with section 106 of the said Act, hereby order as follows :

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Dublin Port and Docks Board) (Rates for Watching Dangerous or Combustible Goods) Order, 1966.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 24th day of June, 1966.

2. The rate of ten shillings per hour is hereby fixed as the maximum rate to be charged by the Dublin Port and Docks Board in respect of watching any dangerous or combustible goods.

3. The Harbour Rates (Dublin Port and Docks Board) (Rates for Watching Dangerous or Combustible Goods) Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 143 of 1957 ), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The effect of this Order is to authorise the Dublin Port and Docks Board to charge a revised maximum rate for watching dangerous or combustible goods at the Port of Dublin.
