DISEASES OF ANIMALS (LICENSING OF PIG DEALERS) ORDER, 1957 (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1962.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 49 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1894, and section 4 of the Agriculture Act, 1931 (No. 8 of 1931), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals (Licensing of Pig Dealers) Order, 1957 (Revocation) Order, 1962.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 31st day of May, 1962.

3. The Diseases of Animals (Licensing of Pig Dealers) Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 202 of 1957 ), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order abolishes the requirement that pig dealers must have a licence from the Minister for Agriculture.
