BUTTER (CONTROL IN SCHEDULED AREA) ORDER, 1957 (REVOCATION) REGULATIONS, 1958.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) (Amendment) Act, 1956 (No. 39 of 1956), hereby make the following regulations :

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Butter (Control in Scheduled Area) Order, 1957 (Revocation) Regulations, 1958.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1958.

2. The Butter (Control in Scheduled Area) Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 53 of 1957 ), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of these Regulations is to revoke as from the 1st July, 1958, the Butter (Control in Scheduled Area) Order, 1957, which prohibited the sale, acquisition for sale or supply for sale (including the supply to the proprietor of a catering establishment or head of an institution) by any person of creamery butter or imported butter in the county borough of Dublin, the administrative county of Dublin and the urban district of Bray unless the butter was supplied to such person by an authorised body or by a person who obtained it from an authorised body, i.e. a central marketing organisation operating under rules approved by the Minister under the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 .
