MILK AND DAIRIES ACT, 1935 (APPLICATION OF PART VI) ORDER, 1948 (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1957.

I, SEÁN MOYLAN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of Section 47 of the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 (No. 22 of 1935), Article 4 of the Health (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1947 ( S. R. & O. No. 58 of 1947 ), and Article 5 of the Agriculture and Health (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1947 ( S. R. & O. No. 417 of 1947 ), and with the concurrence of the Minister for Health, hereby order as follows :

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 (Application of Part VI) Order, 1948 (Revocation) Order, 1957.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1957.

2. The Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 (Application of Part VI) Order, 1948 ( S.I. No. 354 of 1948 ), is hereby revoked.

Explanatory Note.

The effect of this Order is to revoke as from 1st July, 1957, the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 (Application of Part VI) Order, 1948, which is being replaced by a similar provision contained in Section 24 of the Milk and Dairies (Amendment) Act, 1956 .
