MILK AND DAIRIES ACT, 1935 (APPLICATION OF PART VI) ORDER, 1948.

The Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (2) of Section 47 of the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 (as adapted by the Agriculture and Health (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1947), hereby, with the concurrence of the Minister for Health testified by his Official Seal affixed hereto, orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 (Application of Part VI) Order, 1948.

2. Part VI of the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 (No. 22 of 1935), shall apply to the diseases mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

(a) Any disease caused by the types of organism of the Salmonella Group which cause food-poisoning in human beings.

(b) Any disease caused by the types of streptococci which cause streptococcal sore throat in human beings.
