BUTTER (REVOCATION OF ORDERS) ORDER, 1957.

I, JAMES M. DILLON, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 31 of the Emergency Powers Order, 1939 (S. R. & O. No. 224 of 1939), as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 173) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 166 of 1942) (which Orders are continued in force by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946) ), hereby order as follows :

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Butter (Revocation of Orders) Order, 1957.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1957.

2. The Butter (Control in Scheduled Area) Order, 1952 ( S.I. No. 205 of 1952 ), the Roll Butter Order, 1954 ( S.I. No. 175 of 1954 ), and the Creamery Butter and Butter Boxes Order, 1954 ( S.I. No. 176 of 1954 ), are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The effect of this Order is to revoke as from 1st April, 1957, the three Orders referred to in Article 2, which are being replaced by similar Orders under the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) (Amendment) Act, 1956 .
