IMPORTATION OF WOOL ORDER, 1946 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1954.

I, THOMAS WALSH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the joint operation of the Agriculture Acts, 1931 to 1948, and the Diseases of Animals Acts, 1894 to 1954, and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Importation of Wool Order, 1946 (Amendment) Order, 1954.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), shall apply to this Order.

3. The Importation of Wool Order, 1946 (S. R. & O. No. 253 of 1946), is hereby amended—

(a) by the insertion in Article 4, immediately after subparagraph (b), of the following subparagraph—

" (bb) such wool has its origin in the State and is exported to an excepted country and re-imported from that country, or," and

(b) by the substitution for the Schedule thereto of the Schedule to this Order.

4. The Importation of Wool Order, 1946 (Amendment.) Order, 1952 ( S.I. No. 135 of 1952 ), is hereby revoked.
