CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 34) (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1941.

WHEREAS it is enacted by section 11 of the Control of Imports Act, 1934 (No. 12 of 1934), as adapted in consequence of the enactment of the Constitution, that the Government may at any time by order revoke any quota order or other order previously made under the said Act :

AND WHEREAS the Control of Imports (Quota No. 34) Order, 1937 ( S. R. & O. No. 146 of 1937 ), and the Control of Imports (Quota No. 34, Eighth Period) Order, 1940 ( S. R. & O. No. 186 of 1940 ), were made under the said Control of Imports Act, 1934 , on the 25th day of June, 1937, and the 25th day of June, 1940, respectively ;

NOW, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 11 of the Control of Imports Act, 1934 (No. 12 of 1934), as adapted in consequence of the enactment of the Constitution, and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 34) (Revocation) Order, 1941.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Control of Imports (Quota No. 34) Order, 1937 ( S. R. & O. No. 146 of 1937 ), and the Control of Imports (Quota No. 34, Eighth Period) Order, 1940 ( S. R. & O. No. 186 of 1940 ), are hereby revoked as on and from the 7th day of May, 1941.
