DEFENCE FORCES (BILLETING DURING A PERIOD OF EMERGENCY) (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) REGULATIONS, 1941.

I, OSCAR TRAYNOR, Minister for Defence, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 12 of the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) (No. 2) Act, 1940 (No. 11 of 1940), as amended by section 4 of the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1941 (No. 6 of 1941), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby make the following regulations, that is to say :—

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Defence Forces (Billeting during a Period of Emergency) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1941.

(2) For the purposes of collective citation these Regulations shall be included in the Regulations which may be cited together as the Defence Forces (Billeting during a Period of Emergency) Regulations, 1940 and 1941.

2. The references, in the Defence Forces (Billeting during a Period of Emergency) Regulations, 1940 ( S. R. & O. No. 267 of 1940 ), as amended by the Defence Forces (Billeting during a Period of Emergency) (Amendment) Regulations, 1941 ( S. R. & O. No. 79 of 1941 ), to the occupier of any premises shall, in the case of premises which are unoccupied, be construed as references to the owner of those premises of his agent.
