CUSTOMS-FREE AIRPORT (VARIATION OF LIMITS) ORDER, 1979.

I, PÁDRAIG FAULKNER, Minister for Tourism and Transport in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947), the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and the Transport and Power (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 305 of 1977 ), and with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, hereby order as follows:—

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Customs-free Airport (Variation of Limits) Order, 1979.

(2) The Customs-free Airport (Limits) Orders, 1947 to 1967, and this Order may be cited together as the Customs-free Airport (Limits) Orders, 1947 to 1979.

2. In this Order—

"the 1978 map" means the map annexed hereto;

"the 1978 plans" means the plans annexed hereto.

3. Article 4 of this Order shall come into operation at 3 p.m. on the 31st day of May, 1979.

4. The Customs-free Airport Order, 1947 (S.R. & O., No. 114 of 1947), shall have effect as if:—

( a ) Article 4 were deleted; and

( b ) paragraph (1) of Article 5, in lieu of declaring the land therein referred to to be the Customs-free Airport for the purposes of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947), declared the land enclosed within the following limits to be the Customs-free Airport for the said purposes, namely, the areas indicated by a red line on the 1978 plans and the area enclosed by a red line and marked ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPA on the 1978 map but excluding the areas marked "EXCLUDED" on the said map.
