DISTRICT COURT AREAS (VARIATION OF DAYS) ORDER, 1977.

I, PATRICK COONEY, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 26 (1) (f) of the Courts of Justice Act, 1953 (No. 32 of 1953), and after consultation with the President of the District Court, hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the District Court Areas (Variation of Days) Order, 1977.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 2nd day of May, 1977.

2. In this Order, "the Principal Order" means the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 ( S.I. No. 5 of 1961 ).

3. The days for holding the District Court in the district court area of Dundrum shall, in lieu of the days specified in column (4) at reference number 74 in the First Schedule to the Principal Order (as amended by the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) Order, 1962 ( S.I. No. 165 of 1962 ), and the District Court Areas (Variation of Hours) (No. 2) Order, 1976 ( S.I. No. 175 of 1976 )) be each Friday.

4. The days for holding the District Court in the district court area of Rathfarnham shall, in lieu of the days specified in column (4) at reference number 78 in the First Schedule to the Principal Order (as amended by the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) (No. 5) Order 1973 ( S.I. No. 308 of 1973 )), be each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

5. Business transacted in the District Court which is initated and is not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.
