KILLYBEGS PIER AND HARBOUR (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1974.

I, MICHAEL PAT MURPHY, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 of the Fishery Harbour Centres Act, 1968 (No. 18 of 1968), and the Fisheries (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1973 ( S.I. No. 93 of 1973 ), and after consultation with the Minister for Transport and Power and the requirements of subsection (7) (a) of that section having been complied with, hereby make the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Killybegs Pier and Harbour (Amendment) Order, 1974.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 31st day of December, 1974.

3. The Killybegs Pier and Harbour Order, 1896, shall be construed and have effect as if the reference in Article 14 to the Fishery Harbour Centre (Killybegs) Order, 1969 ( S.I. No. 210 of 1969 ) (inserted by the Killybegs Pier and Harbour (Amendment) Order, 1970 ( S.I. No. 90 of 1970 )), were a reference to that Order as amended by the Fishery Harbour Centre (Killybegs) (Amendment) Order, 1974 ( S.I. No. 183 of 1974 ).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to extend the application of the rates and charges hitherto payable in the Killybegs Fishery Harbour Centre to an additional area incorporated in the Centre in 1974 thereby enabling charges to be made for the use of mooring buoys which have been provided there.
