DISTRICT COURT AREAS (VARIATION OF HOURS) ORDER, 1966.

I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 26 (1) (f) of the Courts of Justice Act, 1953 (No. 32 of 1953), and after consultation with the President of the District Court, hereby order as follows :

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the District Court Areas (Variation of Hours) Order, 1966.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of October, 1966.

2. In this Order " the Principal Order " means the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 ( S.I. No. 5 of 1961 ).

3. (1) The hour for holding the District Court in the District Court Area of Annascaul shall, in lieu of the hour specified in column (4) at reference number 104 in the First Schedule to the Principal Order, be 11 a.m.

(2) The hour for holding the District Court in the District Court Area of Cahirciveen shall, in lieu of the hour specified in column (4) at reference number 106 in the First Schedule to the Principal Order, and in column (4) at reference number 93 in the Second Schedule to the Principal Order, be 11 a.m.

(3) The hour for holding the District Court in the District Court Area of Castlegregory shall, in lieu of the hour specified in column (4) at reference number 107 in the First Schedule to the Principal Order, be 11 a.m.

(4) The hour for holding the District Court in the District Court Area of Causeway shall, in lieu of the hour specified in column (4) at reference number 109 in the First Schedule to the Principle Order, be 11 a.m.

(5) The hour for holding the District Court in the District Court Area of Dingle shall, in lieu of the hour specified in column (4) at reference number 110 in the First Schedule to the Principal Order, and in column (4) at reference number 95 in the Second Schedule to the Principal Order, be 11 a.m.

4. Any business transacted in the District Court, which is initiated and not completed before the commencement of this Order, shall be continued and completed as if paragraph 3 of this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order amends the existing provisions with regard to the times of commencement of District Court sittings in Annascaul, Cahirciveen, Castlegregory, Causeway and Dingle.
