DEPARTMENT OF POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS. THE FOREIGN PARCEL POST AMENDMENT (No. 2) WARRANT, 1955.

Dated: 10th November, 1955.

The Minister for Finance, on the representation of the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs as testified by his official Seal affixed hereto, and in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Post Office Acts, 1908 to 1951, and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows :—

1.—(1) This Warrant may be cited as the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 2) Warrant, 1955.

(2) This Warrant shall come into operation on the 1st day of December, 1955.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Warrant.

3. The entries in the First, Second and Third Schedules to this Warrant are hereby respectively substituted for the entries in the First and Second Schedules and Part I of the Fourth Schedule to the Foreign Parcel Post Warrant, 1953 ( S.I. No. 418 of 1953 ), inserted by the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 1) Warrant, 1954 ( S.I. No. 66 of 1954 ), which is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

Maximum Dimensions :
Length	3ft. 6 ins.
Length and girth combined	6ft.
(The girth to be measured round the thickest part).
Maximum Weight	22lb.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

Maximum Postage:
Parcel (except an Air Mail parcel)	Thirty-five shillings for a parcel not exceeding 22lb.
Air Mail parcel	Fifteen shillings per ½ lb.
