AGRICULTURE (RESEARCH, TRAINING AND ADVICE ACT) (TRANSFER OF PROPERTY) ORDER 2009

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 30th January, 2009.

I, BRENDAN SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 21(5)(a) of the Agriculture (Research, Training and Advice) Act 1988 (No. 18 of 1988) (as adapted by the Agriculture and Food (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister)) Order 2007 ( S.I. No. 705 of 2007 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Agriculture (Research, Training and Advice Act) (Transfer of Property) Order 2009.

2. This Order is deemed to have come into operation in place of the Agriculture (Research, Training and Advice Act) (Transfer of Property) Order 2004 ( S.I. No. 214 of 2004 ).

3. All property contained in Land Registry Folio 22836 of the Register in County Cork described at entry No. 4 of Part II of the Folio being Plan No. 5. Is transferred to Teagasc without further transfer.

4. The Agriculture (Research, Training and Advice Act) (Transfer of Property) Order 2004 ( S.I. No. 214 of 2004 ) is revoked.

This statutory Instrument gives effect to the Minister for Agriculture Fisheries & Food decision to transfer lands situated at Darrary County Cork and Registered on Folio 22836 County Cork to Teagasc-The Agriculture Food and Development Authority.
