EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation).

Section 4 of the Superannuation and Pensions Act 1963 provides for the transfer of pensionable service in the case of staff transfers between the Civil Service and “approved organisations”, and between one “approved organisation” and another. These regulations designate the organisations set out in the schedule as “approved organisations”.
