TRANSPORT (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (MARITIME) ORDER 2008 | ||

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Transport and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Transport (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (Maritime) Order 2008. | ||
2. The powers (other than the power to bring a prosecution) and duties of the Minister for Transport conferred on him by or under— | ||
(a) the enactments specified in Part 1, | ||
(b) the provisions of the enactments specified in Part 2, and | ||
(c) the Regulations specified in Part 3, | ||
of the Schedule are delegated to Noel Ahern, Minister of State at the Department of Transport. | ||
