The Government, on the request of the Minister for Education and Science and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Education and Science (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2008. | ||
2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Education and Science conferred on him by or under the Youth Work Act 2001 (No. 42 of 2001) (other than section 18 and the Schedule) are delegated to Barry Andrews, Minister of State at the Department of Education and Science. | ||
