I, MARY COUGHLAN, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) and for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Decision 2008/225/EC of 14 March 2008 1 , hereby make the following regulations— | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Classical Swine Fever) (Restriction on Import) (Amendment) Regulations 2008. | ||
2. The European Communities (Classical Swine Fever) (Restriction on Imports) Regulations 2007 ( S.I. No. 130 of 2007 ) are amended in Regulation 2(1) by the substitution for the definition of “Commission Decision” of— | ||
“ ‘Commission Decision’ means Commission Decision No. 2006/805/EC of 24 November 2006, Commission Decision No. 2007/152/EC of 6 March 2007 and Commission Decision 2008/225/EC of 14 March 2008;”. | ||
3. The European Communities (Classical Swine Fever) (Restriction on Imports) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 ( S.I. No. 210 of 2007 ) and the European Communities (Classical Swine Fever) (Restriction on Imports) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2007 ( S.I. No. 258 of 2007 ) are revoked. | ||
