CONTRACT CLEANING (CITY AND COUNTY OF DUBLIN) JOINT LABOUR COMMITTEE (ABOLITION) ORDER, 2007

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 14th September, 2007.

WHEREAS the Joint Labour Committee was established by an Establishment Order dated 25 April, 1984 and made by the Labour Court under Part IV of the Industrial Relations Act, 1946 (hereinafter called the “Act”) and operating in relation to workers and employers specified in the Schedule to that Establishment Order;

AND WHEREAS application has been made to the Labour Court in accordance with Section 40 of the Act by the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment for an Order abolishing the Contract Cleaning (City and County of Dublin) Joint Labour Committee;

AND WHEREAS the requirements of Section 40 of the Act have been complied with in respect of such application;

NOW, THEREFORE, the Labour Court in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 40 of the Act, hereby orders as follows—

(1) The Contract Cleaning (City and County of Dublin) Joint Labour Committee is hereby abolished.

(2) This order shall come into operation on the 14th day of September, 2007.

(3) This Order may be cited as the Contract Cleaning (City and County of Dublin) Joint Labour Committee (Abolition) Order, 2007.
