I, BRIAN COWEN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (1) of section 6 of the Public Service Management (Recruitment and Appointments) Act 2004 (No. 33 of 2004) and, for the purposes of paragraph (b) of that subsection, after consulting with the Commission for Public Service Appointments and the Minister for Health and Children, hereby order as follows: | ||
1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Public Service Management (Recruitment and Appointments) Act 2004 (Extension of Application to Health Information and Quality Authority) Order 2007. | ||
(2) This Order comes into operation on the 15th day of August 2007. | ||
2. To the extent that the recruitment and appointment provisions of the Public Service Management (Recruitment and Appointments) Act 2004 (No. 33 of 2004) do not apply in respect of the Health Information and Quality Authority, that Act applies in respect of positions within that Authority. | ||
