SEANAD ELECTORAL (PANEL MEMBERS) (PRESCRIBED FORMS) (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) REGULATIONS 2007

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 4th May, 2007.

The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 5 of, and rule 4 of the First Schedule to, the Seanad Electoral (Panel Members) Act 1947 (No. 42 of 1947), hereby makes the following Regulations—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Seanad Electoral (Panel Members) (Prescribed Forms) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2007.

2. The Seanad Electoral (Panel Members) (Prescribed Forms) Regulations 1954 ( S.I. No. 91 of 1954 ), the Seanad Electoral (Panel Members) (Prescribed Forms) (Amendment) Regulations 1972 ( S.I. No. 202 of 1972 ), the Seanad Electoral (Panel Members) (Prescribed Forms) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 ( S.I. No. 291 of 2000 ), the Seanad Electoral (Panel Members) (Prescribed Forms) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 ( S.I. No. 68 of 2002 ), the Seanad Electoral (Panel Members) (Prescribed Forms) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 ( S.I. No. 116 of 2007 ) and these Regulations shall be construed as one and may be cited together as the Seanad Electoral (Panel Members) (Prescribed Forms) Regulations 1954 to 2007.

3. The Seanad Electoral (Panel Members) (Prescribed Forms) Regulations 1954 are amended by substituting form No. 13 in the Schedule hereto for form No. 13 in the Schedule to the said Regulations.

Dublin 2.

This envelope must be returned by registered post

otherwise the vote will be invalid. No fee for postage

or registration is required.

This envelope must be presented for registration at

any Post Office and a receipt of postage will be issued.

These Regulations amend the Seanad Electoral (Panel Members) (Prescribed Forms) Regulations 1954 by prescribing a revised form of the covering envelope to be used by an elector when returning voting documents to the Seanad Returning Officer.
