Made by the Minister for Finance

I, Brian Cowen, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2(1) of the Civil Service Regulation (Amendment) Act 2005 (No. 18 of 2005) hereby order as follows:

1.      This Order may be cited as the Civil Service Regulation (Amendment) Act 2005 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) Order 2006.

2.      The 4th day of July 2006 is appointed as the day on which the Civil Service Regulation (Amendment) Act 2005 (No. 18 of 2005) (other than Part 9), shall come into operation, insofar as it is not already in operation.
