Customs-Free Airport (Extension of Laws) Regulations, 2005

S.I No. 885 of 2005

I, Micheál Martin, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13(2) (inserted by section 49 of the Air Navigation and Transport Act 1988 (No. 15 of 1988)) of the Customs-Free Airport Act 1947 (No. 5 of 1947) (as adapted by the Enterprise and Employment (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 1997 ( S.I. No. 305 of 1997 )) and with the consent of the Minister for Transport and the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following regulations:

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Customs-Free Airport (Extension of Laws) Regulations 2005.

2.  The Control of Exports Order 2005 ( S.I. No. 884 of 2005 ) shall extend to the Customs-free Airport.

3.  The Customs-Free Airport (Extension of Laws) Regulations 2000 ( S.I. No. 430 of 2000 ) are revoked.

The effect of this Order is to extend the provisions of the Control of Exports Order 2005 ( S.I. No. 884 of 2005 ) to the Customs-free Airport.
